Information We Collect

Sign-in information from Google and GitHub — when you sign in with your Google or GitHub account, we receive the following from that service:

• Display name
• Email address
• Profile picture

We never have access to, or store, your Google or GitHub account password.

Information you submit yourself — any content you post on the site, such as comments, projects, or uploaded files, is stored by us so it can be displayed on the site.

Technical Information

For security and to keep the site running correctly, we automatically log some technical information:

• IP address
• Browser and device type
• Time and type of requests made to the site

This information is used solely for security (e.g., preventing abuse), debugging, and improving site performance.

Cookies

Abnoos Log uses a single cookie to keep you signed in (session cookie). This cookie is used solely to identify you as a signed-in user and is not used for advertising or tracking.

We do not currently use any user-behavior analytics tool (such as Google Analytics). If one is added in the future, this page will be updated.

Why We Collect This Information

• To create and manage your account
• To display comments, projects, and other content you submit
• To keep the site secure and prevent abuse
• To fix technical issues

What We Do (and Don't Do) With Your Information

• We do not sell your information or share it with other companies for advertising purposes.
• Your information may only be shared with authorities if legally required (e.g., an official request from competent authorities).
• Your information is retained for as long as your account remains active.

Your Rights

You may request at any time to:

• See the information stored about you
• Have your account and related information deleted
• Have content you published removed, if you're unable to remove it yourself

Right to Be Forgotten

In addition to the above, if you want to be completely removed from Abnoos Log ("the right to be forgotten"), you may request that all your personal information, account, comments, and related content be fully erased from the site. We will act on confirmed requests as quickly as possible.

Please note: some technical data (such as security logs containing IP addresses) may remain in our systems for a short time until the automated deletion cycle runs; this data is retained solely for security and is automatically deleted after its retention period ends.

To submit a full deletion request, simply click the "Request Account Deletion" button in your profile section.

Changes to This Page

If the way we collect or use user information changes, this page will be updated and the update date will be noted at the bottom of the page.
